Very friendly & welcoming staff. beach-side location. Cleanliness was very good and breakfasts lovely.
lack of beach loungers and parasols for 2 days out of 7 with no notice given was not acceptable. Reason given : staff member was en repos"! they should have someone available each day. Also they were not available until 11.am ish which is too late as approaching the hottest time of day. One staff member was not the most helpful. We were informed at check in that bathrooms had no baths only showers -contrary to their website. In the event robathrooms had both. One smoking room was booked but it is a non smoking hotel! This should have been made clear by you, the booking agent, as I would have changed to a different hotel.

Location near to beach, view, parking, restaurants nearby.
Slight smell of smoke in the room (it may have been "smoking" room, so not directly a complaint, but some hotels are able to get rid of that:)), no elevator (only a problem if you have huge luggage).

Location close to the beach
The en suite was only an excuse. The stairs and landing were not suitable for a hotel If this was a superior room I would hate to see the standard room

Situated across the road to the beach. Good restaurants around and nice walk along the prom into Santary and near other interesting places. Easily accessible from Marseilles airport..
Site advertises "private beach" but this only happens in July-September (in season). So no beds on beach and it is shingle. Staff were rigid about check-in time and were not very friendly. There is a big restaurant area but only now serve breakfast. Room was very small and would not like to stay for longer than a couple of nights. Also quite noisy, you can hear everything!! Got impression from Website it was in Bandol, but it isn't, so misleading. But nice location anyway.

I liked the view from my room, which took in the tiled roof of the elegant breakfast room below, the beach with it's palm trees and the Mediterranean sea beyond.
The cleaning maid knocked on my door while I was in bed with my wife, and didn't leave any shampoo when cleaning the room.

I only stayed a short night, but the receptionist was very helpful, guiding me when I found the main road closed to vehicles. The room was large attractive and comfortable.
No towel rails that I could see; shower tiles neededscrubbing out with a bleach.

Bel Azur is the kind of Hotel to spend a few days on the sea: the beach is just across the road, and you have complimentary sunbeds.

Friendly staff, and the fact that chaise-longue are free on the beach and you may be served right there by Alex, or Mr "Tout-va-bien?" as I called him. The room is cute. The air conditioning had been going on all day in our room and it was quite "cold" when we arrived there, but it was not a negative since the weather was hot all day and we needed some fresh air.
Two points: 1. The walls are thin enough to hear someone snoring next door. 2. the toilet seat takes the only available room in the bathroom right in front of the door opening to it. As a result, you cannot sit on it without leaving the door open on your bedroom.

Room servicing was exceptional Nice, pleasant staff who managed to do their best for us despite their limited English and my limited French
Hotel needs a bit of a refurbishment - a bit outdated

Location - just across from the beach. Hotel has car park which is free. Room 202 has balcony and views of the sea and refurbished bathroom.
Although the parking area is free, it is narrow and needs to be marked out in order to encourage sensible parking by guests. Beach disco diagonally opposite hotel open until 2 am at weekends so noisy if have front room.

Location is perfect, staff is very friendly
Small parking area, no guaranteed parking - first came first served. The rooms have poor furniture, broken lamp in room 106. A bulb was burned but not replaced by hotel staff. Photos of rooms are different than in reality - in fact they are smaller and not so nice Breakfasts are poor

It is next to a night club, which plays very loud music. The club does nor close till after 3:30 a.m. and then there are noisy revelers outside till well after 4:30 a.m. So no one gets much sleep. This is not a hotel that I would recommend.

Views of the sea, great breakfast.
Room was too small and bed very uncomfortable. Bathroom was so narrow that we couldn't sit on the "John" without our knees hitting the wall....ugh!
